Xeory Extensionのカスタマイズ PHP編

子テーマのCSSのイジり方は分かったので、次はPHP（コンテンツ本体？）もイジっていきます。 現在使わせて頂いてる親テンプレートのXeory Extensionはブログ本体とは別に、トップページがあります。 初期状態だと個人ブログ用では無いので、何もないスペースが出来てしまうので、削っていきます。

まず、子テーマのフォルダにトップページのファイルを親テーマからコピーして入れます。 トップページのファイルはfront-page.phpのようです。

子テーマフォルダはこんな感じになります。

CSSの時は親テーマのファイル名だけコピーして、中身はコピーしませんでしたが、 今回は中身もコピーします。 これはWordPressだからという訳ではなく、システムの特性ですね。

ファイルの中身の修正ですが、 元々企業サイトの用な作りになっていて、会社紹介の部分などがあったので、 ブログ記事以外の部分と１つのスペースを残してガッツリ削りました。

まだ直したい部分はありますが、とりあえず何も表示されていない部分を削ることが出来ました。 1つだけ何も表示されていない部分を残しているのは、外部のリンクとかを将来的に貼れたらいいなと思って残しています。 ヘッダーの下の大きいスペースもかっこいいですが、何も表示する物が無いので、直す予定です。
